French people
Our first impression of French people was really good. In their families the pupils seemed to be very shy and obeyed their parents all the time , but as we arrived at school they changed their rolls completely. They made fun and jokes all the time but all together they were very helpful and really interested in things the other pupils did.
All the families embraced us with open arms and we felt as we were part of their families.
The only thing that was a bit strange for some of us was that we were on a school with 95% of boys. So when we went over the school-yard a lot! of boys walked and shouted behind us ... but we guess that would have done each boys from each country ;-)

Impressions of the meeting

Last meeting was very great; I liked it so much that I was so sorry to come back home!!
Like the other foreign partners, the French were very friendly; the made us enjoy very much .
The presentations of all countries were very interesting ,too. In general this experience was unforgettable and I hope I' ll get in touch with everybody.

March the 29th 2006...the trip begins...way to Nimes! We arrived to Nîmes at night and we were really tired after being 8 h. in the train..3 fantastic days in France began for us!
The families that received us were very nice. They made us feel like at home. The first days was the day of showing our work to the others. Though it was a bit difficult to speak in English, it was very interesting seeing the work of the rest of the countries, specially the theatre of the Germans...it was very amusing!
Nîmes is a nice city and I liked very much "Les arenes" and the "Pont du Gard" wich is really enormous! And the food was delicious!!!! But for me the best thing of the meeting was the people! I could meet a lot of friendly, kind and crazy people...everybody danced in a pub...it was really funny!!
It´s really wanderful to meet people in a short period of time and know that you will never forget them.

The presentations
Our impressions of the presentations of the topic “Best of..” were very different. All presentations were mostly well done.
The Spanish partners did two very different presentations, the first one was a very interesting collage of photo-impressions of all the meetings, showing the nice atmosphere and the good human relationships of the “Comenius-family”.
The second presentation of Spainwas a questionnaire about the current political situation and our opinion about this. The Spanish people tried to explain it to us, but we didn’t know what to do with it. And we didn’t understand the connection between the strike in France and our topic “Best of …”.
The Hungarian people made a movie about their best presentations. They showed a lot of impressions of their school and interesting short clips of their former presentations, but sometimes the sound of the movie was not very good.
The French people worked once more on our topic of the last period. “Visions of the future” They dealt with the aspect of technical progress and did a very good lecture about two important bridges: Pont du Gard and Milau Bridge with a quiz and they showed many pictures.
The Italian people did a Powerpoint Presentation with many pictures of the different meetings. The presentation was nice and Nino did a good job as a host. He was very relaxed.
Now we come to the German presentation. We did a role-play about the different welcomes to the countries, prejudices and the presentationelements. We hope that the others enjoyed it and had lots of fun to watch it.
